Frederik Frederiksen:
Frederik was born and raised in Qaqortoq, where the icy fjords and towering mountains have been his playground since childhood. As an educated arctic adventure guide with a thirst for knowledge, he is now studying service, hospitality, and tourism management, chasing his dream of owning his own company and providing unforgettable travel experience.
Frederik´s journey into the world of adventure tourism began at a boat charter company, where he started as a kayak guide, guide- and captain´s assistant on boat and later became a captain himself.
Whether he is traversing rugged terrain, paddling through serene waters, or capturing fleeting moments of beauty through his lens, Frederik finds his peace and fulfillment in every aspect of outdoor exploration. With a warm smile and an open heart, Frederik thrives on forging connections with fellow adventurers and sharing his deep-rooted love for the Arctic wilderness.

Service, Hospitality and Tourism Management is a program that will provide you with a unique opportunity to receive theoretical and practical training in everything related to the field of service, hospitality and tourism management. After completing the AP degree in your education, you will be able to work in various positions in hotels, restaurants, museums, event organisations, national parks and all kinds of tourist attractions.

An Arctic Adventure Guide is certified to guide tourists from all around the world, with knowledge of different cultures and tourist segments.
During the training, the students have been taught of culture differences, guiding techniques through landscape and terrain, maps and navigation, safety and proper gear on field. The students have been to a Wilderness First responder Course as well as 12pax maritime course, therefore an Arctic Adventure Guide knows how to handle an injured person in the field and how to handle a boat.
